As a result, I was not comfortable with
formal lectures and
receiving regular homework a$$ignment.

6.
Due to financial reasons, I ðropped out of school
after
years of formal schooling.

7.
Because I believe that human are computers, I conjectureð that computers,
like people,
can have left-anð right-handeð version.

8.
Briefly,my inventions are on how to ðesign powerful computers anð computations.

9.
During the week that I arrived in USA, I saw an airport,useð a telephone,useð library,talked with a
scientist,anð
was shown a computer for THE
FIRST TIME.

10.
Henri Poincare,
considered one of the world's greatest mathematician,
had an extremely low IQ.

11.
I am a mathematician who relies heavily on
qualitative problem solving techniques.

12.
I learneð by reading the classic but out-of date
works
of Galileo,Isaac Newton ,Betrand Russell and Albert Einstein.

13.
I studied the most influential scientists & inventors to learn what made them different from ordinary people and
discovered that the most ceative people in the world
scored lower than expected in SAT and IQ tests & most
only earned high school diplomas.

14.
My focus is not on solving nature's deeper mysteries.
It is on using nature's deeper mysteries to solve important societal problems.

15.
The greater opportunity enabled me to make important and invent.

My friend,
RESOLVE says "I will ". The man
says " I will climb
this mountain. They told me it is too high, too far, too sleep, too rocky, and too difficult.
But it's my mountain. I will climb it.
You will soon see me waving from the top or dead on the side from the side trying.

Dear,
the great minds are the ones that
will encounter obstacles in life and will never be derailed in the quest to achieve the achievable.
Just have positive attitude about
those mountains
and watch how
the positivity will metamorphose to an earthquake,
and level the the mountains!

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL? NEVER TOO LATE~~MAKE A CHOICE.

Roles models that inspire
and motivate life can be wonderful
for
some of us and
for others,
extremely tough.
It is actually the tough
part,our
problems and challenges, that will
define who we eventually become.
The great role models of this world can play a major
part in our lives because we can learn from them and
be inspired by their qualities, traits,
stories and challenges in our lives.
To overcome them,
we will need to dig deep and find all
the strengths that we have
determination, persistence,
resilence,
courage,
a positive mental attitude.
Dig even deeper and
you will find the
most wonderful
part of you-- the human spirit!
So who are these role models that have made a difference in people lives?
Personally,
I have millions of role models.
I am like a tree, with these millions influencing
my reasoning

may be due to their courage, charisma or
determination to excel.
Let's meet few of them.

1.
HELEN KELLER,
who although blind and deaf from age 2,
travelled the world with her message
"THE WORLD MAY BE
FULL OF
SUFFERING BUT IT IS ALSO FULL OF
OVERCOMING".
Some of us actually believe we
have a big problem in our and when we compare to
Helens Keller's,
we realize we don't.
Or,may be we do have a problem as big as
Hellen's and then suddenly realize if she can
overcome her problem,
I can do the same.
The human spirit is
an amazing thing.

2.
LANCE AMSTRONG.
He beat cancer
and then
went on to beat
the world's greatest cyclist 7 years
consecutively.
I hope
you bought one of
his
rubber wristbands because
you would helped
to make
the world a
little bit better.
This man's postive mentalt attitude & determination to win,
to beat, to overcome is truly inspirational.

3.
MARTIN LUTHER KING JNR.
Who stood up to discrimination &
poverty and helped pave the way for
greater equal rights in America.
No one
can ever say that one person can't make a
difference in this world.
The only thing we need
is the hunger.
We need to want something badly
enough.

4.
MAHATMA GHANDI.
Who believed in non-violence
&
who was
instrumental in standing up to the British
Empire & getting India
its freedom.
A man of peace.
A man who was above differences of
colour,caste, religion or nationality.
A man who is remembered the world over.
He died with only a few
personal possessions.

5.
THOMAS EDISON.
He proved that through
persistence & determination he could achieve.
He finally invented the light bulb aftter some 10,000 failures. He didn't
see them as failures , he saw them as
steps closer to his goal. He wa$
Henry Ford's role model.

6.
ALBERT EINSTEIN.
One the greatest brains of 20th century whose theory of RELATIVITY took the scientific world by
storm.
Contrary to popular belief,he didn't go to University & in fact started off
working as a
clerk in a patient's office.
Slow to learn and not
able to speak until after age 2.
He said,"Imagination is
more important than knowledge".
What
a great message for those who have low self-esteem
because
they believe they lack intelligence.

7.
WINSTON CHURCHILL.
He helped beat Germany world war 2 and saved Britain from defeat.
Not bad for someone who failed 6th grade and
who was defeated in every election
until
age 62 when he became Prime Minister.

8.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN.
Failed in
the army,failed in business.
Lost his sweetheart when she died.
Had
a nervous breakdown.
Was defeated many, many times in politics especially
for nomination for
congress,
for US senate,
for vice presidency in 1856.

6TH OF THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL PEOPLE.

BEN UNDER WOOD: THE BOY WHO COULD "SEE" WITH HIS EARS.
Ben Underwood was a remarkable teenager, who loved to skateboard ride his bicycle and play football and basketball. For the most part, the California 14-year-old was just like other kids of his age. What made Underwood remarkable was his ability to master these activities despite the fact tha he was blind. Underwood had both eyes removed after being diagnosed with retinal cancer @ age 2.
To most people's amazemen upon meeting him,he seemed completely unfazed by his lack of sight, defying common stereotypes about blindness as a disability. So how did he do it? The answer is
ECHOLOCATION:the sonar navigation technique used by bats, dolphins, several other mammals and some birds. As underwood moved about,he habitually made clicking noises with his TONGUE;these sounds bounced off surfaces and, with each return, added to Underwood's perception of his surroundings. He was so good @ it that he could tell the difference between a fire hydrant and a rubbish bin, distinguish between parked cars and trucks, and-- if you took him to a house he had never been to before--he would tell you he could 'see' a staircase in that corner and a kitchen in the other. He could even distinguish between different materials.
An unflinching faith in God guided Ben and his mother during his last few mönths as cancer spread to Ben's brain and spine. He finally died on January 2009 @ the age of 16.

WINDOW WASHER IN COMA
AFTER FALLING FROM 47 STORIES,
WOKE UP ON XMAS DAY.
A man name ALCINES MORENO,37,
fell from 47-storey
building in
Newyork skyscraper when a freak accident
sent
his window-washing platform plunging
to the concrete pavement.
The accident killed
his
brother,who was
working
on the same scaffolding platform, and left
Morena in such a bad
state that doctor
couldn't risk moving him to an
operating room.
Instead,
they operated on
him
in the emergency
room,leaving him in a
vegetative state
for nearly
3 weeks.
Finally,he showed
signs of consciousness and
spoke on xmas day.
Less than a month later
he was discharged
with the expectation that
he would walk
again
within a year's time.
Considering that
the death rate from even four-storey fall is about 50%,
Moreno's survival,thanks
in part to fortunate circumstance,is
ASTOUNDING!

2ND MOST FASCINATING MEDICAL MIRACLE.

A TEENAGE MODEL HAD HER BODY
HELD TOGETHER
BY 11 RODS
A girl,Katrina Burgess,17, was told
by doctors she may never walk
again after surving a 70mph
car crash with
a
broken neck&
back,and a catalogue of injuries.
But after being put back with 11
metal rods & enough pins &screws to send an airport
security detector
into overdrive,
Katrina
was signed up
by a modelling agency.
Surgeons saved her life after her
car left the M5 &
crashed into
a ditch as she travelled towards her hometown of WEYMOUTH,DORSET.
She snapped her back, punctured both lungs
&broke her
neck,her pelvis,her left leg,and several ribs.
Surgeons @ Musgrove park hospital in Taunton,
SOMERSET,said that with surgery to
help
the bone to fuse, her spinal injuries in particula could
deteriorate,risking
death.

Doctor inserted
a rod from her
hip to her knee in her left leg the day she was
admitted to the hospital.
It was secured
inside with 4 titanium pins.
The most risky
opèration came a week later.
They sliced open her back& inserted
6 more
horizontal rods up the length of her to support her spine. A week after that, they inserted
a titanium screw
to the top of spine
to support the
break
in her fragile neck.
Only a day after the
the last operation,
she was
able to take her first steps.
Astonishingly,
5 months on
from the crash,
the teenager has recovered to the
point
where she no longer even
needs painkillers.

3RD MOST FASCINATING MEDICAL MIRACLE.

A TEEN WHO LIVEÐ 118 DAYS
WITHOUT HEART.
It was
supposed to be a great day
for 14-year-old
D'zhana Simmon,
who received
a transplant
to replace her
enlarged heart.
However,
her dream turned into
a
nightmare when
THE NEW heart failed to function properly.
Doctors had to remove
the new organ,but without another
available
and D'zhana weakened from the surgery.
They had to
come up with a stopgap measure;
two artificial
pumps
that keep the
blood flowing in her
body for close to 4
months.
The feat was newsworthy partially because of D'zhana's age&
partially because
when an
artificial heart
is used to
sustain a patient,
the
patient's own
heart
is usually left
in the body.
Finally,on OCT,29,
D'zhana received
another heart
transplant,
and it was so successful that
she had a
kidney transplant the very
next day.
This girl is a
cat with
118 lives.

fewer than 5 times before in Britain, use
the segment of tooth as a
holder
for a new lens grafted from his skin.

a tub of white hot alumininium exploded in face@
work in a scrapyard.
He suffered 37% burns & had to wear
a special body stocking for 23hrs
a day.
He also had his left eye removed.
But surgeons
were
able to
to save the right eye, even though he was unable to see
through it.
At 1st specialist in NOTTINGHAM tried to save his sight
using stem
cells from a donor, but the attempt failed.
It was only when
a
revolutionary new
operation was
pioneered @ the SUSSEX EYE CLINIC
IN BRIGHTON
that
he was given a chance to have his sight back.

During the procedure,a minute section of
a patient's tooth is removed,
reshaped& chiselled through grip, the man made lens, which
is the placed in it core.
It is implanted under an eyelid where
it becomes covered in tissue.
The process requires a living tooth
as implant because doctors
suggest there
are chances
the eye would reject a
plastic equivalent.
So,a canine which is the best option
due to its shape
&size
was taken out of Mr Jones mouth.
A patch of skin is then
taken from the
inside of
the eye for 2 months, where it graduälly acquires
its
own blood supply.
Then partially lifted from the eye
& placed over new
sturdy base.
Mr Jones from,
ROTHERHAR SOUTH YORKSHIRE,SOUTH,was able to see his
wife ,GILL,5O,who had married for years ago.

and the head.
Doctors call the
injury an ORTHOPAEDIC DECAPITATION and at the time
gave Jordan 1% chance of survival.
The tissue may have been
destroyed,but the
faith of Jordan's family was intact.
Word about happened to Jordan spread
to his family
and his family
church and other churches
across the country.
Jordan's mother says @ one time
she knew at least
20 churches were praying for
her son,
Dr. Roberts reconnected head
to his neck
with a metal plate ,screws, and titanium rods.
3 months after the accident,
Jordan left the hospital and
is now
back at
school .

THE TENTH MOST FASCINATING MEDICAL MIRACLES.

NEAR-VEGETATIVE MAN WAS
BACK TO LIFE AFTER STIMULATI ON
ELECTRODES
WERE IMPLANTED INTO HIS SKULL.
A man
who was
left in a near-vegetative state
by
a serious assault
was able to speak and
eat again.
The severely brain
injured patient,
who is now 38 was unable
to communicate, swallow or make co-ordinate movement
for 6 years before
doctors revived
him from this minimally conscious state {MCS}
with a revolutionary therapy.
Since his skull was implanted with electroðes to stimulate
a deep-lying and
undamaged part of
his brain,he has improved so dramatically that he can
now feed
himself,brush his hair and
recognise and
talk to his parents
and doctors.
The transformatiön
achieved
by
the deep brain stimulator{DBS} technique,
which is already
used to
treat Parkinson's
disease and
some neurological disorder
{like Tourreff's syndrome} has
raised hopes that it could offer

a way
back to consciousness for many people with
similar seriou$
brain damage.

WHO IS A GENIUS: A CRITICAL LOOK AT BENSON CARSON. GENIUS? IS HE IS NOT A DETERMINED AND HARDWORKING PERSONALITY?

DUE TO THE POPULAR DEMAND FROM MY
FELLOW
MEDICAL STUDENTS ON THE NEUROSURGEON PAR EXCELLENCE,BEN
CARSON,
I DECIDED TO CALL HIM ON PHONE,
BUT,HE WAS VERY
BUSY THEN.
HE SENT ÖNE HIS MEN TO ME
TO CALM MY FRUITFUL
QUEST ABOUT HIS
LIFE.
The man narrates:
Benjamin Carson was born in Detroit
Michigan.
His mother, Sonya
Carson had dropped out of school in the 3rd grade and married
Robert Solomon Carson.
Solomon,a much older baptist minister
from Tennesse, when she was only 13.
When Carson was 8,
his parents divorced and Mrs. Carson was left to raise Benjamin
and his older brother, Curtis,on her own.
She worked at two,
some three jobs at a time to provide
for her boys.
Early on Carson experienced
difficulty in school,eventually
falling
to
the bottom of his class.
He became the of name calling
&subsequently developed violent uncontrollable temper.

DETERMINED to turn her son's life around, Carson's mother limited his
television
watching and
refused to let go outside to
play
until he had finished his homework each day.
She required him to read two library
books a week
and to give
her written reports on his reading,
even though, with her poor education, she could barely read what he had written.
Soon Carson was amazing his instructors & classmates with his.
'It was @ that moment that I realized I wasn't stupid' he recalled.
Carson Continued
to
amaze his classmates with his new found knowledge
and within a year,he was @ the
top of his cla$s.
After determining that he wanted to be a Psychiatrist, Carson graduated with
honor from high school
and
attended Yale University where he earned a degreep in psychology.
From Yale,he went to the medical school of the univer$ity of Michigan where
his interest
from Psychiatry to Neurosurgery.
His excellent hand-eye coordination and three-dimensional reasoning skills
made
him a superior surgeon.
After medical school Johns Hopkins Hospital's in Baltimore @ age
of 33.

EARLY CAREER
He had successfully separated connected twins.
Siamese twins of 1987 &
separation of Luka & Joseph Brenda in 1997,always
come to
mind.
HIS MARRIAGE.
He is married to Candy Rustin, whom
he met
in 1975.
AWARDS.
Carson has received honors
and award$ including over 40
honorary doctorate degree.
In 2008,June 19 to
be precise,he
he was decorated with freedom
@ the white
house.

Dear reader is
African-American
just like the man of the moment, Barack Obama.
Your skin colour does not matter,
what matters is the content
of 'your character'
Kill any element
of
inferiority complex in your mind.
You are a champion! ! !

MY ENCOUNTER WITH WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE.

Do You know that
William Shakespeare is still alive?
Though,
in history he was baptized on 26 april 1564.
He began his successful career in London as an actor.
They claimed he
produced most of his work between 1589 and
1613.
A respected English poet and playwright.
Millions worship him as genius.
BUT,
I RECENTLY HAD AN ENCOUNTER WITH HIM.
I INVITED HIM TO
MY HOUSE FOR A BRIEF
DISCUSSION.
INTRODUCED MYSELF AS 'INSPIRATIONAL'
HE CHANGED OUR DISCUSSION TO DISHING OUT OF INSPIRATIONAL ADVICE.
WHICH I KNOW YOU'LL BE GLAD TO
READ.
Are you ready?
Ok,
he told me my son:

Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some
achieve greatness,and
some have greatness thrust upon them.

If you can look into the seeds of time, and say which
grain
will grow
and which will,
speak the unto me

Cowards die many times before
their
deaths;the valiant never taste of
but once.

It is not in the stars to
hold our destiny but in ourselves.

Give every man thy ear,
but few thy voice.
Love all,trust a few,do wrong to none.
Mind your speech a little, lest you should mar your
fortune.

No legacy is so rich as honesty.

The evil that men do
lives after them;the good is
oft interred with their bone.

Life is but a walking shadow,a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the
stage,
and the is heard no more; it is a tale told
by an idiot, full of sound and
fury,signifying
nothing.

The robbed that
smiles,steals something from the thief.

It is better to bear the ills we have than fly to other we know
not of.

Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown.

What is done can't
be
undone.
And lastly,he told me that
a man is piece is of work, noble
in reason and infinite.

NO PERSONALITY
CHARISMA
HAS BEEN SO
INFECTIOUS
LIKE
THAT OF OBAMA.

IN NIGERIA CAMPUSES THE
OBAMAMANIA RULES,
WHERE ALMOST
EVERY
CONTESTANT IN
S.U.G.
ELECTIONS UNDERSTANDS
THE MAGICAL-WAND NAME.

THE STORY IS SIMILAR
IN ALL THE RACES
IN THE WORLD.

EVERYBODY
DESIRES A HANDSHAKE WITH THIS ORATOR
PAR EXCELLENCE.

NIGERIA IS
STILL
MOURNING THE
BY-PASSING USHERED TO THEM BY THE MAN,
BY VISITING GHANA.

PERSONALLY,
I AM SUFFERING
FROM 'OBAMALARIA'

TRUTH BE ECHOED,
OBAMA IS AWESOME!

ATTENTION! ! !
Let
Obama dish out his stuff now!

If you are
walking down the
the
right path &
you are willing to
keep
walking,eventually
you'll
make progress.

It took alot of
blood, sweet & tear
to get where we
are
today,but we have
just begun.
Today we
begin in earnest
the
work of making sure
that the world we leave our
children is just a little
bit better
than the one
we inhabit.

If we aren't willing to pay
a
price for our values, then we should ask whether we truly
believe
in them @ all.
Everyone has a chance

Change will not
come
if we wait for some other time.
We are
the ones we've
been waiting for.
We are the
change
that we seek.

We need to steer
clear
of this poverty
of ambition,
where
people want to
drive
fancy cars&
wear nice clothes
&live in
nice apartments,
but
don't
want to work hard
to
accomplish these
things.
Everyone should
try to
realize their
full potential

CONFIRMED! !
Obama is simply
inspirational.

THINK WITH ABRAHAM LINCOLN AND FEEL NELSON MANDELA.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN:
The probability
that we
may fail in
the
struggle ought not
to
deter us from
the support of a cause
we believe to be just.

That some achieve
great success,
is a proof
to all
that others
can achieve it as
well.

Towering genius
disdains
a beaten path.
It seeks
regions hitherto
unexplored.

Things may come
to
those
who wait,but only
the
things left by those who
hustle.

NELSON MANDELA
SPEAKS:
I learned that courage
was not the absence of fear, but
the triumph over it.
The brave man
is not
he who does not
feel
afraid,but he who
conquer
that fear.
It is better to lead
from
behind & to put others in front especially when you
celebrate
victory when
nice things occur.
You take the front line,
when there is
danger.
The people will appreciate your
leadership.

My dear,

the pattern of
God
is to use ordinary
ordinary people to
do
extraordinary
things
in extraordinary
ways.

Sheer individual creativity coupled
with ardent
determination,
you will
be
able to establish yourself as authority
in your specific career.

Don't be @ ease
or
accept conditions
in the society as they are.
There
must be a
ðesire in you
to improve
&even
do things to change the status quo for the best.

MARTIN LUTHER JNR VISIONS AND MOTIVATIONAL WORDS.

A man who
won't
die for something is
not fit living.
Take
the 1st step
in faith,you don't
have
to see the whole
staircase,
just take the 1st
step.
The ultimate measure
of a man is not where he stands
in
moments of
comforts & convenience,
but where he stands @ time of
challenge&
controversy.

Rarely do we
find men who willingly
engage in hard,solid thinking.
There is
an almost
universal quest
for
easy answers &
half-baked
solutions. Nothing pains some people
more than
having to think.
Life most
urgent question
is:
what are you doing for others?
An
individual has not
started living,until
he can
rise above the
narrow confines
of his individualistic concerns to
border concerns of all humanity.

What ever your
life's
work is,do it well.
A man
should do his job
so well that the living, the dead
&
the unborn could do it better.

We must accept finite disappointment,
but never lose
infinite hope.

INSPIRATIONAL MINDS YOU ARE WELCOME. WE LOVE YOUR COMMENTS AND IDEAS HERE.

BEING A MEDICAL STUDENT IS CHALLENGE
WHICH CAN NEVER BE UNDERMINED.
We are
epitome of what Role models
ought
to be. Always bear in mind that ur own
resolution 2 succeed
is more
important than any other.
Do
ur very best U know & d
very best U can.
Keep
on doing so until the end.
Don't
worry when U are not recognized,
but strive 2 be worthy of recognition.
Character
is like
a tree & reputation like a shadow, the shadow is what we think of it,the
tree
is real thing.
YOUR great concern should not
be whether U have
failed,
but whether
U are
content with ur failure.
Failure is
often the turning point,the
pivot of circumstances that
swings
us 2 higher levels. Have self confidence, because it opens the possibilities in U.
You have the ability,the agility&
the flexibility 2 make things happen.
Do you
know that we are making
use of only a small
part of
our physical & mental
resources.
REMEMBER: All d world's a stage & all d men
& women merely players:they have their exits & their
entrances;
and one man in
his time
plays many parts.
